The Corral de Tierra Shopping Center was approved on a 3-2 vote.

At the May 17 Board of Supervisors meeting, the slightly smaller project presented was not approved. But neither was it outright denied. The Supervisors asked the Phelps to come back on July 12 and present a smaller project.   • The Encina Hills / Harper Canyon project is "tabled indefinitely". The County is waiting for the applicant to let the County know when they want to reactivate the County review process. The applicant is waiting for resolution from the PUC as to the complaint regarding the water company.

Past postings:

  • The Toro LUAC turned down the CalAm request for a 120,000 gallon water tank in a 3 to 1 vote. The LUAC recommended undergrounding the tank, as has been done in other places.

  • People are wondering what the black fence is for between the Villas and the Phelps property. It turns out that the California Department of Fish and Game requires and has issued a permit for a 1 1/2 foot hight perimeter ditch and traps set for endangered salamanders.
